This formula combines cold and warm natures, regulates and unblocks the blood vessels, and is mild in nature; it is a gentle formula for dispelling stasis and dissipating masses.
o Dark purplish tongue, possibly with stasis spots.
o Deep and choppy, or deep and wiry pulse.
o Use with caution or avoid in pregnancy. Although there is the saying "when there is cause, there is no harm," this formula should only be used under close guidance of a physician.
o Use with caution in those of very weak constitution.
o Although this formula gently disperses masses, it remains ultimately a stasis-dispelling agent and should not be taken in excess or over a prolonged period.
o Gui Zhi (cinnamon twig) 9 g + Tao Ren (peach kernel) 9 g + Fu Ling (poria) 12 g + Bai Shao (white peony root) 12 g + Mu Dan Pi (moutan bark) 9 g = 51 g.
o 51 g raw herb ÷ 5 = 10.2 g granules.
o One dose daily, taken in two portions morning and evening, dissolved in warm water, about 5 g per dose.
o Or as directed by a physician; this formula is often taken long-term in pill form. If a physician prescribes a decoction with modifications, the total raw herb weight must be recalculated according to the adjustments made. When used to dissipate masses, the duration of use is longer; please follow the physician's instructions.
本方寒温并用，通调血脉，药性平和，为祛瘀消癥之缓剂。
o 舌质紫暗，或有瘀点。
o 脉沉涩或沉弦。
o 孕妇慎用或忌用。 虽有“有故无殒”之说，但需在医师严密指导下使用。
o 体质极虚者慎用。
o 本方虽为缓消之剂，但终属祛瘀之品，不宜长期过量服用。
o 桂枝9g + 桃仁9g + 茯苓12g + 白芍12g + 牡丹皮9g = 51克。
o 51克生药 ÷ 5 = 10.2克颗粒。
o 每日一剂，分早晚两次温水冲服，每次约5克。
o 或遵医嘱，本方常作为丸剂久服。若医师开具汤剂并加减，则需按调整后的总生药量重新换算。用于消癥时，疗程较长，请遵循医嘱。
