Orders at ProCare Herbs are prepared by the same people who stock the shelves. If something about an item is unclear — which grade it is, how it is packed, when it last came in — the answer comes from whoever weighed it. That is what makes this a dispensary rather than a shelf: bottled items ship as they are, and dispensary items are weighed to the gram against each order, so what leaves is what was asked for.
Bottled items are packed at 100 g and ship as they are. Dispensary items are weighed to the gram against the order in front of us, which is why an order containing them takes longer to leave than one of bottled items alone.
Anyone can order at retail pricing. Licensed acupuncturists, TCM practitioners and students can apply for a professional account; applications are reviewed by hand, and professional pricing appears on the account once it is approved.
