About Our Products

Single herbs are stocked as whole material and as 5:1 concentrated granules. A granule is a concentrated extract of the same herb, prepared so that a smaller weight carries the same amount of herb; it dissolves in hot water and needs no cooking. Whole herbs are the unprocessed material and are decocted at home.

Classical formulas are prepared to the same standard as the single herbs. The Master's Collection is a set of signature tablet formulas, each listed with its full composition, and the catalog also carries moxa sticks and moxibustion supplies.

Bottled items are packed at 100 g and priced by the bottle. Dispensary items also carry a price per gram, so the price of an order follows the weight requested rather than a package size. Both prices are shown before you order.

Every item is listed under all three names it is known by — pinyin, Chinese, and English — because that is how the people who order it think of it. Registered practitioners see their own pricing on the same page as everyone else.

Orders are prepared at our dispensary and shipped once every item is weighed and checked. Shipping is calculated at checkout from the carrier's own rates, and local pickup can be arranged with a day's notice.
